Discover Mingles Bar & Grill Llc

Nestled on 17030 Torrence Ave in Lansing, Illinois, Mingles Bar & Grill Llc is one of those spots where comfort food and a lively atmosphere come together in a way that feels both familiar and refreshing. Walking in, you’re greeted by the kind of warm lighting and casual setup that instantly makes you want to settle in with friends. The staff tends to remember regulars, and that personal touch adds a sense of community that many diners in the area appreciate.

The menu balances hearty American classics with a few surprises. From juicy burgers and perfectly seasoned wings to steak dinners that are cooked just the way you ask, there’s enough variety to please both a quick lunch crowd and those who want to linger over dinner. One detail that stands out is how portions are generous without sacrificing flavor—something customers mention often in reviews. For those who enjoy a good drink pairing, the bar features an approachable list of cocktails and draft beers, making it easy to match a meal with the right beverage.

Being right in Lansing gives it an advantage when it comes to accessibility. Many diners highlight how the location is convenient for both locals and visitors traveling through the south suburbs of Chicago. Parking is rarely a problem, which is an underrated plus when it comes to choosing where to eat out. Beyond the practical side, the vibe leans toward relaxed evenings where you can enjoy live sports on screen or chat over music without shouting across the table.

What people often remark on is the consistency—whether it’s a busy Friday night or a midweek dinner, the food quality remains steady. That reliability matters. Studies from the National Restaurant Association show that over 60% of guests return to establishments where food and service quality are consistent, and Mingles seems to fit that mold. It’s the kind of place where regulars bring friends, and friends turn into new regulars.

There’s also a trust factor in how the team handles feedback. While no spot is perfect, the willingness to listen and adjust is part of what makes the restaurant a neighborhood favorite. From casual date nights to group gatherings, this is a location that caters to different occasions without losing its identity. If you’re looking for a diner-style experience with the warmth of a local bar and grill, Lansing’s Torrence Ave has a reliable answer.

  • Went for my birthday dinner. When we arrived we sat at a booth, we was told we would need to buy bottle and had 45 minutes to sit there, so we were seated at another table. The food and presentation so good, the drinks mango pineapple lemon drop and the wear my crown drink so good . Owner was greeting patrons and very nice I will definitely be back

  • I would recommend this place, especially for a late night! This isn’t my first time at Mingles so obviously something keeps bringing me back! This time, the customer service could have been better, but overall it was still a good experience. In regard to the food, the catfish and asparagus were phenomenal. 10/10! On the other hand, the chicken could’ve been seasoned better and we could’ve lived without the macaroni, but overall the food was decent. The drinks were pretty strong as well. If you’re looking for a black owned bar with good food and a good atmosphere, this is it!

  • Listen, if you don't do anything else, come to Mingles for this insane and delicious oyster flight! It was soooo good. I also had the chicken phily, buffalo chicken dip, turkey burger, and salmon croquettes and mac n cheese. (not pictured because we were being so greedy) We missed happy hour by 15 mins and the owner came out and gave us free tequila shots.

  • Just stopped by to grab a drink while my parents ate at Culver’s. Security is really thorough and made sure he checked everyone’s ID and Frisked. I felt very safe! He needs a raise! Also the drinks are good. Happy Hour Menu is actually worth it. My Long Island looked to be smaller than others I’ve had in the past but packed quite a punch and was absolutely delicious. I love how they have “shooters” for $5 that allow you try shots of different high end alcoholic beverages such as Hennessy, Casa Migos, etc. great place overall.
